Focus is put on core Internet Protocols, including frame types, IP addressing, subnets and masks, routing errors, ICMP, DHCP, TCP and UDP, IGMP, MPEG2-TS, MPEG4, RTSP, and troubleshooting TCP/IP applications: Telnet, FTP, HTTP, DNS and SNMP. Focus will be put on real life IPTV cases.

> GigE Training

The course introduces Ethernet basics, Fast Ethernet, Fast Etherchannel, Gigabit and 10 Gig Ethernet. This course will cover the characteristics of Fast Ethernet, the fundamental concepts required to understand how Fast Ethernet achieve 100 megabits per second, and looks at how Ethernet operates at signal level. Students will also learn about Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet switching, and the characteristics of these high-speed switching technologies.
