Telecom Malaysia has selected and deployed over 100 sets AnaCise CSA as part of its ongoing commitment to provide outstanding quality of service and quality of experience to the expanding ADSL2+ subscriber base of its Broadband subsidiaries in the entire Malaysia. Having a concrete focus to increase customerˇ¦s service quality, Telecom Malaysia needs a future proof tester to address the forward-looking expansion plan into the future of broadband deployment and Triple-Play services. CSA with ADSL2+ PIM emerged as the all-rounded field tester playing an active operational role in the evaluation performance testing of access networks and CPE.

 

Proven and impressed with the features offered by AnaCise products among other thoroughly evaluated maker, Telecom Malaysia has selected to use the AnaCise CSA even beyond ADSL2+ networks of broadband subscribers. The recent acquisition of CSA with GigE PIM module will enable Telecom Malaysia explore ways to reduce operational expenses (OPEX) related to dispatching service technicians for trouble calls and has improved the ability to install residential IPTV services over different technologies.

 

Engaging AnaCise's CSA, a compact piece of handheld hardware that fits neatly above a field technician palm weighing less than 1.5kg with 15 hours of operation time, Telecom Malaysia Broadband now has a real-time solution that empowers both the broadband service video provider and brings value to the end-customer. "Each CSA features a touch screen Start button that a technician can press to ascertain broadband and IP Video quality performance". "Users also find it very useful to the automatic configuration and set up tests routine and thresholds to manually or automatically capture the result if the CSA sees an anomaly. This reduces the expenses associated with man hour assignment but without compromise of maintenance vigilance over any situation, anytime, anywhere."
