In line with Sri Lanka Telecom's (SLT) objective to expand its broadband network to make ADSL available to other regions, in addition to current services in major cities, SLT has decided to purchase 50 units of AnaCise Convergent Service Analyzers (CSA) as the future-ready field tester for field engineers to ensure promised broadband services are delivered to its customers.
SLT currently posses a robust network which is capable of handling services based on IP technologies: voice, data and video and mobile through the applications of business, education medical care and entertainment. CSA ADSL2+ testers with IPTV, VoIP & Data functionalities will be the right tool for SLT to roll out the next SLT IPTV services that pioneers the country first IP based TV broadcasting service.
"AnaCise CSA takes the honor to be SLT's field tester supplier after detailed evaluation was executed among other players. Being a younger brand name in the Test & Measurement arena, CSA scored by a commanding lead against others to secure this opportunity. A heartfelt appreciation also extends to AnaCise's attentive support to make this a resounding success", said Mr. Dayan Karunatilleke of Techno Instruments (Pvt.) Ltd., authorized distributor of AnaCise in Sri Lanka.
"We are delighted to supply CSA to SLT and we pledge to enhance our products lines further to assist and meet SLT's high level of quality assurance being the country's only wire line service providers to offer real-time TV broadcast programming, video-on-demand and other advanced services over broadband connections to televisions. CSA GigE module with Triple Play functionalities will also play a significant role in SLT near future introduction of infrastructure in the form of NGN [Next Generation Networks] using optical fibre backbone and broadband services such as IMS, IPTV etc", said Ben Lee of AnaCise Global Business Division.
